By now, you’ve probably seen the viral video of a lawyer accidentally logging in to a Zoom court hearing with a cat filter. After almost a year filled with video meetings, there has been a fair share of Zoom mishaps, but this one seemed especially funny and adorable.
Now, you may be wondering, “how do I turn off the filter?” and we’re hear to tell you how so you can avoid becoming a meme.
To turn off your filters, go to “Settings” then click “Video” on the sidebar. Switch the “Camera” dropdown from “Snap Camera” to “Integrated Camera” or whatever other camera device you have connected to your computer. Voilà! You’ll be filter free and safe from video meeting embarrassment.

On the other hand, you might want to try out one of these fun filters. First, download “Snap Lenses” on your PC or Mac. Once downloaded, you can open Zoom and go to “Settings,” “Video,” and then change the “Camera” dropdown to “Snap Camera” and you’ll be ready to try out an assortment of fun filters!
